PIPRD XD – Extra-Duty Industrial Floor Signs *NEW MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION*

Choose PIPRD XD for higher-wear locations and areas with a greater risk of scraping or edge damage. Its .040" construction is 60% thicker than our standard PIPRD Industrial. It also incorporates a beveled edge for a smoother transition from the floor to the sign.

With XD floor signs, you get the durability of thicker material, with a low-profile snag-free edge.

Freezer Grade Floor Signs

Choose Freezer Grade Floor Signs for freezers, cold-storage facilities, and cold-production environments. A specialized low-temperature acrylic adhesive maintains a dependable bond to properly prepared floors at low temperatures. The low temperature adhesive will leave residue when removed.

Peel-and-Stick Installation

Install PIPRD floor signs quickly with little down time.

Before installation, make sure the floor is smooth, clean, dry, and free of contaminants that could interfere with adhesion.

Peel back a portion of the release liner, position the sign, apply the exposed adhesive. Then peel the remaining release liner from the adhesive while applying firm, even pressure across the entire surface.

After installation, apply firm pressure across the sign to initiate a strong bond between the adhesive and the floor. Do this by hand, using a roller, or drive over with forklift or vehicle tires to achieve maximum adhesion.

Once installed, the floor signs are ready for use right away.

Slip Resistance

PIPRD floor signs surface feature an average dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF) of 0.83 when dry. This far exceeds ANSI-A326.3 threshold DCOF of 0.42 and OSHA recommended static coefficient (SCOF) of 0.50.

For best slip resistance, keep the signs clean and dry. Wet or oily conditions may reduce traction below recommended friction levels.

Warranty Information

These warehouse floor signs include a 2-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship when installed on a suitable, properly prepared surface and in accordance with installation instructions. This includes heavy traffic and torquing from cart, pallet jack, forklift and vehicle wheels. The warranty does not cover damage from scraping or dragging items over the signs.

PIPRD XD provides enhanced resistance to incidental scraping and edge damage but is not scrape- or gouge-proof.
